Our Loews Hotels & Co Home Office teams provide support to all our properties throughout the United States and Canada. Our talented teams provide guidance over strategic planning, operations, revenue management, communications, marketing, finance, human resources, and information technology. This position is based at the Loews Hotels & Co Business Services Center in downtown Nashville, TN.

 

 

Job Specific

 

General

  • Develop, maintain and implement improvements to a landscape of technical security safeguards, including assessment and deployment of technologies, systems and associated processes and procedures
  • Conduct research focused on identifying emerging technology solutions that reduce risks and  costs while increasing efficiencies, capabilities, and security
  • Lead efforts for technology evaluations, which involves identifying a weighted feature matrix for a specific need and evaluating and scoring products against the desired features; Research activities include readings, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and lab testing
  • Proactively identifies technical and architectural risks, commenting and/or providing alternatives for improvement
  • Consult with project teams to ensure adherence to security design patterns and best practices
  • Contribute to effectiveness of information security operations providing expert analysis and input to incident identification, response, resolution, and post-incident forensics investigations
  • Translate internal and external security requirements into design of specific information security safeguards
  • Evaluate information security components of the enterprise architecture, conduct feasibility studies for selecting appropriate and cost-effective solutions
  • Design and implement information security system components including cloud security, vulnerability management, access control, event monitoring and others
  • Lead the development and maintenance of relevant technology and documentation to enhance NIST cyber-security maturity model
  • Coordinate activities of third-party specialist service providers where necessary to support design, development and implementation of information security safeguards
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or closely related field of study, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT Infrastructure, Security, Networks
  • Experience with cloud security, IAM tools, firewalls, routers, DLP, SIEM, application whitelisting
  • Thorough understanding of system and network protocols and their relationship to the security infrastructure including cloud provider models
  • Demonstrated desire to remain knowledgeable with current and emerging trends within the Cyber Security Industry
  • Familiar with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE
  • Knowledge of network routing, protocols, architecture, segmentation, etc.
  • Active in professional security organizations such as ISSA, ISACA, InfraGard, etc
  • Experience with open source security testing software
